It’s cold when your toilet bowl has ice in it.

It's so cold that liberals actually have their hands in their OWN pockets.

I'll be juicing a whole mess of Satsumas today once I get out there and harvest all the frozen ones.

Had to look it up.

I had heard that Satsumas are hardy to 26 Degrees. It got down to 23 and the top leaves don't look too bad. I've had the top 3 feet or so freeze killed before. Not this time.
If I know a hard freeze is on its way, I have a parachute I cover the whole tree with.

I checked my Mango tree and it looks AOK. It froze completely down to the ground years ago and I knew it was gone. 2 years later it came back up.

I've just picked the first bucket of fruit. Off to juicing now.

It's so cold that when you throw coffee out the window, it freezes into little crystals before it hits the ground.
Character still matters.  It always matters.

I wear a mask as an exercise in liberty and love for others.  To see it as an infringement of liberty is to entirely miss the point.  Be kind.

"Sometimes I think the Church would be better off if we would call a moratorium on activity for about six weeks and just wait on God to see what He is waiting to do for us. That's what they did before Pentecost."   - A. W. Tozer

Use the time God is giving us to seek His will and feel His presence.

...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM
EST SUNDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAMPA BAY AREA - RUSKIN FL HAS
ISSUED A WIND CHILL ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS
EVENING TO 10 AM EST SUNDAY.

* WIND CHILL VALUES...19 TO 35 DEGREES.

* OTHER IMPACTS...LIMIT TIME OUTDOORS AND DRESS IN WARM LAYERS OF
CLOTHING TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM THE COLD. REMEMBER TO BRING
  PETS INDOORS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS. THIS WILL RESULT IN
FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.
IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS...MAKE SURE YOU WEAR A HAT AND
GLOVES.
My avatar shows the national debt in stacks of $100 bills.  If you look very closely under the crane you can see the Statue of Liberty.

It is so cold up here that when my poochie goes out in the am to do his duty, it freezes before it hits the ground.  Minus 28 on Thursday. Minus 20 this morning.

I think we topped out at around 14 degrees today. Typical Michigan January.

It was nice of them fellers to put a privy out there on the lake like that but I wish they had put it closer to the house. Its a 2 holer.

It is a balmy fourteen below zero out as I type and in a rare fit of near calm, the wind chill is only 16 below. Not too bad.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
