A state legislator in Arizona has crafted legislation that would prohibit taxpayer dollars from funding any coursework which stokes racial, religious or gender resentment. The bill would also ban government funding of courses which promote racial, gender or ethnic isolation.

The author of the bill is Bob Thorpe, a rural Northern Arizona Republican and the chairman of the higher education committee in the Arizona House of Representatives.

“Arizona shall not educate nor judge an individual based upon their religion, political affiliation, social class, gender, ethnicity, race or by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character,” Thorpe’s bill begins.

I hope he gets his bill passed into law and that the idea catches on in about 49 other states!

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
When we are talking about govt money to universities and colleges, we need to restrict it to actual classes that go for actual careers. Money for the psychobabble studies needs to be funded separately, and donors need full disclosure as to where their money is going, with the option to keep their money from going to the social classes. That and use accreditation boards to force universities to streamline curriculum toward educational classes versus indoctrination and propaganda.

FedGov  legislation could make grants contingent on absence/curtailment of such ridiculous courses, period.

Then listen to dems whine, about stopping the highly popular classes on persecutions of every variety of "minority" from blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Native Americans, religious minorities like muslims, homosexuals and transgenders, etc.

Certainly you aren't suggesting intellectually stimulating classes such as this along with women's studies, death of Harambe the Gorilla, Miley Cyrus in today's world, etc. be included!
