Conservative leadership candidate Steven Blaney took a shot at Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Wednesday for responding faster to the death of actress Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia in the Star Wars movie franchise, than to the deaths resulting from the December 19 Berlin Christmas market terrorist attack.

“When Princess Leia passed away, the prime minister only took four hours to react, whereas for a terrorist attack where a truck caused 12 deaths in a Berlin Christmas market, it took him three days to have a decent response,” he said in French at a press conference in Quebec City, according to Le Soleil.

Trudeau put out a statement on December 19 about the terrorist attack in the city of Karak, Jordan that killed a Canadian citizen, and retweeted, the same day, Foreign Affairs Minister Stéphane Dion’s condolences following the murder of the Russian ambassador to Turkey.
