Newsweek reporter Kurt Eichenwald is the definition of fake news.

Eichenwald tweeted Thursday night that attendees at Donald Trump’s victory rally actually booed when the President-elect announced the passing of the late, great John Glenn.

He would later go on to delete the tweet, but not before being screenshotted by Mediaite’s Alex Griswold and receiving thousands of retweets.

“Trump supporters booed John Glenn when Trump mentioned his name at today’s rally,” he wrote. “A real American hero who risked his life [for] us. They booed.”

Eichenwald is also the one who repeatedly keeps claiming Clinton got a majority, too. Fake news indeed.

He doesn't even get his correction tweet right when he says it was actually people booing Trump. Apparently, the booing was directed at the hecklers, not Trump.

This guy just wants the picture to not be pretty for Trump.
How to lose credibility while posting:
1. Trump is never wrong.
2. Default to the most puerile emoticon you can find. This is especially useful when you can't win an argument on merits.
3. Be falsely ingratiating, completely but politely dismissive without talking to the points, and bring up Hillary whenever the conversation is really about conservatism.
4. When all else fails, remember rule #1 and #2. Emoticons are like the poor man's tweet!
