   Russia had some influence in the US election but I personally don't think it was significant enough to get Trump over the hump.

Actually a lot simpler than hacking. All they have to do is flood social media with false pro trump stories from false news sites in eastern Europe. Lord knows I must have blocked a thousand Russian trolls on Twitter.  We called them "Peggys".
