Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell met with North Dakota Rep. Kevin Cramer this week to discuss a potential open Senate seat, POLITICO has confirmed.

The Tuesday meeting at the National Republican Senatorial Committee offices comes as President-elect Trump is considering Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (N.D.) for a Cabinet position, possibly at the Energy Department or the Agriculture Department.

So far it seems Trump has appointed only 2 people that opposed him in the Primary, Carson at HUD and Haley at UN, the rest as some other Liberal said is Goldman & Generals (Bannon's influence seen here).
Guess we can rule out Perry at Energy or Agriculture.
Seems some people that got on the Trump train early like Christy and Giuliani are OUT also, this is a good thing.
