NYT: Christie Out as RNC Chair Candidate
Thursday, December 8, 2016 12:26 PM

By: Eric Mack

Embattled New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is no longer a candidate to be the next Republican National Committee chairman, The New York Times reported.

Christie had interest in taking over the RNC for Reince Priebus, who is going to be President-elect Donald Trump's White House chief of staff. Christie had also been demoted from leading Trump's transition team this fall, a role that was reassigned to Vice President-elect Mike Pence.

Christie had been a loyal supporter for Trump's presidential candidacy since dropping out of the GOP primary, but sources told The Times there has been little support for him amid the Bridgegate controversy where two former Christie aides were convicted of federal charges, including: fraud, conspiracy and depriving the residents of Fort Lee, N.J., of their civil rights.

The Times reported Ronna Romney McDaniel, niece of former presidential candidate Mitt Romney and Michigan GOP chair, is said to be the favorite among Trump's inner circle to be the next RNC chair. Nick Ayers, a Pence aide, and Mercedes Schlapp, a GOP strategist, are also considered candidates.

Christie should realize that he's never going to be a part of Trump's cabinet or run in that circle; regardless of how much support he tossed his way. He sent Invaka's father-in law to prison.  Not going to happen for the jelly doughnut boy.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

This fat idiot has a 70% disapproval in his state. He spent his time running around opening his big mouth and didn't do anything to fix the state. In some cases he made it worse.

At a time when the GOP is getting remarkably high marks there is absolutely no reason to get involved with the most hated politician in the country.

Not just Ivanka's father-in-law. The last thing anyone needs is an RNC chairman to whom scandal attaches
like barnacles on a ship---and with the same lack of regard for the rights of the ship.

In other words, he was (is) a classic Jersey pol. (That state's politics have been a cesspool for decades.)

At least in the top ten most hated. (I can't fathom even Christie being despised more than people have despised Donaldus
Minimus and Hilarious Rodent Clinton . . .)

I saw a poll yesterday where he was at a 19% approval rate, the lowest any seated governor ever had in any state.

Here it is I found it from one source

Here's the one from yesterday.
