The management that took over Carl's, just as the management that took over McD's are the ones responsible for making that marketing strategy necessary. They left the core standards and market that the businesses were built on. Amazingly In-N-Out which never lost site of or changed it's business is going gangbusters, funny how that works.

Exactly.. College professors who were so called experts on Iraq told us the people would welcome us with open arms  and embrace democracy. My neighbor is  a PHD college prof..book smarts but zero common sense.
