Missed it by THAT much... I picked up this song when I was playing in bars, many years ago, having never heard the original, nor knowing who recorded it. But I DO know now, so your services are not required. But thanks for askin;, all the same :)

I have a brain block when it comes to this song, even though I like it so much.  I think of it every now and then and either can't remember who sang it or can't remember the name, usually both, which makes it really hard to find so I can remember it.

My nephew plays Madden NFL 17 constantly, the music is mostly dumb. I can't figure out the words so my brain makes them up, I look up the words and mine were better. IMO.
