A former top aide to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and seven others, including some of the governor’s allies and donors, were indicted Tuesday on federal public-corruption charges that involved some of the governor’s signature economic-development programs.

A federal grand jury indicted Joseph Percoco, the governor’s former aide, and Alain Kaloyeros, a former president of a state university, and the others with 14 counts, including bribery, extortion and conspiracy. That included two counts of wire fraud — charges that hadn’t appeared in a September criminal complaint.

Too bad they haven't the balls to go after Cuomo himself.

Too bad they haven't the balls to go after Cuomo himself.

He may be insulated from the doings of his cronies and they likely won't rat him. Or maybe it's best to first pick off the people around him. As always, we'll see.

Birds of a feather...
