Soldier found dead in his room at Fort Bragg

A Fort Bragg soldier was found dead inside his barracks Wednesday, 18th Airborne Corps officials said Friday.
Pfc. David Winchester, 21, of Adamsville, Alabama, was found inside his room. He was a biomedical equipment specialist assigned to the 601st Area Support Medical Company, 261st Multifunctional Medical Battalion, 44th Medical Brigade.
He joined the Army in April 2015 and was assigned to Fort Bragg in June 2016, a press release said.
