A pizza is sometimes just a pizza.

I saw this when 4Chan started talking about it and my immediate impression was they were trolling, and I still believe that.

Saying every reference to pizza is code words for a pedophile trafficking network is beyond over the top.   Freeper level idiocracy.

Feel free to post other links and sources. No matter how Reddit-like they may be. Lord knows the MSM would never give this any serious consideration. So it's up to kook and fringe sites to actually uncover what may or may not be true.

I know I would personally trust World Net Daily, the National Enquirer or even Reddit far more than the New York Times or CNN.

...and whomever created this blog apparently doesn't realize what 4Chan is. They are not researchers, they are trolls. Sometimes hackers use 4Chan and 8Chan to anonymously coordinate (that's where Anonymous got their name from), but 99.9999% of the time, anything like this you read there is pure, no nonsense trolling.

I totally agree. 4Chan? No Thanks.

But they're not the only dogs sniffing out this stuff.

My mind is not made up. One way or the other. I'm just posting a link to this blog as a type of reference guide. It explains who the players are and what the subject is about for dummies like me.

Don't just see "4Chan" and dismiss this out of hand.

From the blog...... They also link to Wikileaks. https://wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/?q=comet&mfrom=&mto=&title=&notitle=&date_from=&date_to=&nofrom=&noto=&count=50&sort=6#searchresult

The issue isn't that they link to Wikileaks, it is they are making up completely outrageous stuff about what the emails in Wikileaks mean. They are making a huge story that the references to pizza in the leaks are secret code for child trafficking.  They start with a grain of truth, the leaked emails, throw in some unrelated comparisons, then paint a tapestry out of made up colors.

Also remember that it's not just "pizza". There is his child porn art, his spirit cooking dinners and more. This guy is being investigated by the FBI.  Do I think this will go anywhere? Nope. But we shall see.

@AbaraXas

I was viewing another forum and there was a thread about jpegs embedded with data that a couple of posters were surmising held child porn. From the Podesta e-mails. I went and tried to find that but their server is busy. If I can find it I will let you know.

@Neverdul

This whole thing IMO is a chase down an empty rabbit hole and IMO belongs in the Alternate Realities sub forum.

When Cass Sunstein was a professor at Columbia university he wrote a paper about the ways conspiracy theories could be promoted to inspire, distract and destroy. He wrote about planting them among political opposition to send them off on a wild goose chase while you enact your agenda unhindered. If public opinion begins to shift in favor of your opposition you can expose the falsehood of the conspiracy theory to make the opponents look foolish and untrustworthy or even simply dishonest.

Lets not forget, the whole birther thing came out of the Clinton camp and ended up with conservatives demanding to know whether GOP candidates intended to pursue it.

One of the reasons our side can't complain about fake news when many are just as guilty about not having the discernment and rationality to see through obvious trolls like this story. I see so many on our side who are usually very rational people, falling into this crap. A local doctor who is a party leader here is constantly passing stories like this around Facebook (chemtrail crap too). Because of his 'stature' it causes more people to pass it along until it becomes 'common knowledge truth'.

Yup. Its why so many of us have abandoned FOX news, Breitbart, Drudge report, and Worldnet daily.

I don't need self appointed minders dictating what is and isn't fake news to me. In fact it seems that those screaming loudest about fake news have only become proportionally dishonest themselves.

Now I see these idiots pushing a fantasy on social media that Thomas Jefferson called legal punishments for the press in his 2nd inaugural address. His arguments with the media are legendary and he did speak of punishing them in his inaugural address but he spoke of them being punished by a discerning and informed public.

When Jefferson wrote his famous letter to John Norvell calling the press a "Polluted vehicle" he still didn't mention punishing them through force of law. In fact he suggested that a newspaper dedicated strictly to fact would find few subscribers. Instead he suggested to Norvell that if he wanted to start a newspaper it would be best to have it in 3 sections. (Facts, rumors, and outright lies)  :silly:

Everyone who has spent more than 10 minutes (total) thinking about "Pizza Gate" needs to take a break and read Umberto Eco's Foucault's Pendulum.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.

This comment so much. At that, it should be required reading before venturing to any political site, especially conspiracy oriented ones.
