NBA Players Say They Won’t Visit Trump White House After Championships

It is tradition that when sports teams win championships, they visit the White House as part of the celebration. All of the major professional sports teams do it as well as college and women’s sports, but that may be over, at least for the NBA. Believing the media hype and Hillary Clinton’s bullshit that Donald Trump is a racist, prominent professional basketball players have indicated they won’t visit the White House while he’s in office.

On Thursday, NBA Champs the Cleveland Cavaliers hung out at the White House for Obama’s last team celebration before he leaves office. It may also be the last time an NBA team visits, or at least until Trump is gone.

One of the stupidest traditions anyway. Obama loved doing it because he hated to work, but why on earth does every freakin' championship sports team have to visit the White House? Why does the president pardon a turkey? Could someone please take this job seriously for once?!?

I agree.  If they want a gathering...do it their own state capital house.  No one gives a rats turd cutter on a national scale.

Used to be a time when a visit to the White House was reserved for real hero's.   CMH recipients, Dead members of congress, Astroriods and such.

Don't get me started on lowering the flag to half staff, which for some reason now is done for everyone from crackheads (Whitney Houston) to gangbangers (a local college student who got shot while home on break, so the college president had campus flags lowered).

If virtually all white sports teams i.e. hockey teams said they wouldn't visit an Obama WH, the media would be full of hysterics accusing the players of racism for not wanting to visit a black president. 
I'm sure all the black NBA players, like James, would also be foremost in accusing the hockey players of racism. James and the rest of the players do not understand what stinking hypocrites they are.

Every time a single professional athlete indicated he wasn't interested in visiting the Obama White House, the outrage was palpable. Yeah, hypocrisy is putting it mildly.
