Yes, when he does that I call it "Master of the Patio". He's standing on the steps that go down into our tiny back yard patio area. He likes to stand there and sniff, observe the goings on, and listen for the birds and some animal that lives in the bushes just on the other side of the fence.

Yeah, mine's 115 lbs.  Wouldn't fit in the sink.

I have sink puppies. I'm such a pushover with my dogs, I can't handle anybody over 20#.

I wash my dog in the shower. Our shower has one of those detachable nozzles, so it's really easy. I just open the shower door and he walks right in. Put on some doggie shampoo, rinse him off, open the door and he dives headfirst into the towel I laid out for him while I finish my own shower. Hardest part is finishing the drying while he is trying to eat the towel.

The drying off with the towel is my dogs favorite part, if he had his way I would keep rubbing him even after he was dry.

No kidding I think our dogs love going out in the rain just for the post walk rub down. My wife puts the towels next to the heater vent when I take them out and buy the time we get back they are nice and warm. The dogs run tot he vent to be first in line for the rub down.
