Report: Calif. attorney general’s office consulted with Planned Parenthood on legislation targeting pro-life group

Officials in California Attorney General Kamala Harris’ office collaborated with Planned Parenthood to draft legislation targeting the filmmaker behind controversial undercover videos of Planned Parenthood executives, according to emails obtained by the Washington Times.

California’s AB 1671 was crafted in response to the Center for Medical Progress’ videos that showed employees of the nation’s largest abortion provider describing the sale of aborted fetal body parts. It would criminalize the recording or distribution of a private conversation with a health care provider. The California Legislature passed the bill and it awaits a decision by the Gov. Jerry Brown (D).

In an editorial on the bill, the Los Angeles Times argued that, “even if you decry the Center for Medical Progress’ work,” the bill is “bad for whistleblowers.”...

My wife was the one who called the police. She knew Jennie and after a phone conversation learned that Jennie had the baby in a shoe box on the back porch. She was thinking of having a service or a funeral. Flat out murder.

Yeah, I remember. I know it's not easy to have raise kids, but I can't believe the selfishness than oozes out of that article.

Living a lifestyle that puts you in a spot doesn't excuse murder. She had called my wife looking for my BIL. Jennie thought my BIL might be the father. She wanted to tell him what she had done. So she related it to my wife. My wife was appalled. My wife spoke up as a voice for that dead child. She got a lot of hate mail for it telling her it was none of her business. Murdering helpless children should be everybody's business. It is our opinion that a woman gives up the "right to choose" when she exercises the "right" to have sex. There are consequences. Choosing abortion is choosing murder, in our opinion. Flat out.

All the legislation in the world affirming abortion doesn't change that.
