McDonalds Replaces 70 Americans with Foreign H-1B Workers

McDonalds has joined the growing national trend of outsourcing American jobs to cheaper, foreign workers. The McDonalds in Ohio fired 70 American accountants and replaced them foreign, H-1B workers.

McDonald’s spokeswoman, Terri Hickey, admitted that this was a cost savings effort saying, “To deliver $500 million in savings, the vast majority by the end of 2017, we are restructuring many aspects of our business, including an accounting function.”

This is the kind of thing Trump does at his properties. He pretends there are no Americans who can make beds and wait tables and brings in foreigners.

So maybe somebody should find out what the basis was for getting the visas.

Oh, and BTW, the jeremiad against H-1B visas and alleged loss of jobs for Americans is more smoke than substance.  An employer must pay at least the prevailing wage in the geographic location where the job is.

If H-1B visas take jobs from Disneyland that is wrong.

There are also enough stories where Americans who are highly qualified techwise have problems finding jobs per these visas.

But the globalist backstabbers somehow have a disconnect; and merely just point out the wages have to be the same.

I used to deal with contractors (home and building construction and repair) as customers, in a blue State.

All illegals because with all the other Govt musts those contractors/employers were saddled with they couldn't meet their expenses and stay in business if they complied.
