Crackerball: Baltimore Orioles Slugger Bemoans Lack of Protests in ‘White Man’s Sport’

According to one player you may as well just start referring to Major League Baseball as crackerball. Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones voiced his dismay over the lack of national anthem protests in professional baseball. As the liberal media continues to promote anti-American sentiment and feed into racial hostility with daily fawning coverage of NFL benchwarmer Colin Kaepernick and his growing ranks of followers, the absence of bended knees and raised clenched fists on the diamond irks Jones greatly.

A white man's sport begun in the Civil War while the northern army was freeing his ancestors and thousand of white men were dying so a sorry *ss multi-millionaire could complain without being whipped.

Has this guy not opened his eyes in the course of his career? If there's an MLB team out there where white American boys are not in the minority (or at least no more than half the roster), I'd be surprised.

That "White man's sport" is one of the most ethically mixed for the longest time.

Now, hockey, on the other hand? THAT is a white man's sport.

But baseball is the most culturally diverse major league sport there is: whites, blacks, Caribbean nations, Latin Americans, Koreans, Japanese, all of them are represented in the major leagues, and baseball is arguably one of the most difficult sports to actually reach the majors.

There sure are a lot of people from namely, the Dominican Republic and then, Latin America in general in the MLB; Japanese players also. I think there has been an effort in recent years to regrow baseball among the African American community, famously, the number of such players in the MLB has dropped in recent years.

A friend and I were talking about just the evolution of baseball; it seems the Civil War occurred and ends in 1865 and then, boom, 10 years later, baseball becomes the national pass time and goes professional.

Danica is a middle of the pack driver along with 25% of the total but it beats being a back of the pack driver.

There are a lot of females coming up through the ranks of trucks and ARCA.

Rico Abreu really impressed me a while back at Texas. In the final restart of the night he came up from about 10th to challenge for first and was all over the first place truck till his tires went away.
