Mark Levin made the big announcement Tuesday night on his radio show after methodically walking listeners through his rationale.

At the beginning of the program, Levin made sure his real feelings were known. It was no secret that Levin’s first choice was not and is not Donald Trump. In fact, he boldly declared Tuesday that despite Trump’s holding some conservative policies, “Donald Trump is not a conservative … and he’s not reliable.”

Levin reiterated his position that Sen. Ted Cruz would’ve been a far better choice to champion conservative principles as president.

But that’s not what happened and … “at the end of the day, someone is going to be president.”

I have the utmost respect for Mark Levin and for Andrew Wilkow and they are both facing reality and supporting Trump.

I've been pragmatic in almost every election I've ever voted in for forty years.  It's no different this time, but you go to war with the army you've got - not the one you wish you had.

That said, I think Trump will make a good president.

I wouldn't say he's "supporting" Trump.  I listened to him.  He spent a long time going over why Trump was such a poor candidate, and even said that those who were in the bag for Trump back when there were other, good candidates to choose from would have to bear the responsibility for putting Trump where he is.  He did say some positive things about Trump's tax plan for instance, but said he didn't know who wrote the plan and if Trump even believed in it.  And, on and on.

Support?  Not really.  But, he did say he would vote for him.

I agree with that.  No one's does.  I choose for myself, thank you.  It's my vote.  I am not going to spend my time listening to pompom squads for Trump though.  Levin won't probably go that far, but I still don't want to hear it.  Now I've got three extra hours again.  Maybe my gym attendance will get back up to speed.

I have a feeling Mark's going to be regretting his decision within a week.

The split second Levin pumps or pushes Trump when a caller tells him they will not vote for Trump - I'm canceling my Levin TV subscription and that will be the end of listening to talk radio.

That's what I have been saying for months. And yet it does no good at all. Saying Trump is better than Hillary to a NeverTrumper gets automatically translated to, "You WORSHIP Trump! I refuse to kiss the feet of your false prophet! These are only a couple of normal responses to saying that you will vote for the Republican nominee. As crazy as that is, it is true.
