Twenty percent of African-American voters in Florida support Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump according to a poll released Wednesday by Florida Atlantic University.

The poll hit as Trump is visiting Tampa for a mid-day rally at the State Fairgrounds.

The poll shows Trump with a two point lead of rival Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, 43 to 41 percent, within the poll’s 2.7 percent margin of error. Clinton has the support of 68 percent of African-American voters in Florida. 1200 registered Florida voters were surveyed from August 19-22.

FAU Poll?

How often do they poll? What is their track record? How accurate were they in 2008 and 2012?

Is the FAU poll press release link at the Gateway Pundit page working for anyone?  I found that odd, especially as Hoft reported on two fake polls in the past week and now he reports on one that we can't go to the link and validate it.

I think FAU stands for Facts Are Unnecessary.

Trump should be touting FAU poll of Florida. First good polling news he's had in a while. But without PA he has no chance to win.

Folks, if Trump needs 20% of blacks and 40% of Hispanics to win FL by only 2 points, he probably ain't winning FL.

He should tweet it. It's the best polling news he's had in a while, even if the methodology is fantastical.

Nope, it is just hard to tell what is valid and what isn't when Gateway Pundit doesn't provide a working link. They don't even list the margin of error that I noticed (for all we know, that is over 3-4%, outside normal poll acceptable numbers).

The two mentioned before that were fake were overtly fake, not just biased. Fake websites set up recently with no data, no methodology, and no track record at all.

That's the bottom line.  If he's getting that kind of support from blacks and Hispanics, he should be winning in a rout.  What he's apparently losing are millions of white voters.

If any poll is showing Trump getting 20% of the black vote, you simply know the poll is complete and utter BS.

Case closed on this one.

How to lose credibility while posting:
1. Trump is never wrong.
2. Default to the most puerile emoticon you can find. This is especially useful when you can't win an argument on merits.
3. Be falsely ingratiating, completely but politely dismissive without talking to the points, and bring up Hillary whenever the conversation is really about conservatism.
4. When all else fails, remember rule #1 and #2. Emoticons are like the poor man's tweet!
