Last night on Bill O'Reilly's Fox News program, a guest made an astonishing claim about illegal deportations by Presidents Obama and Bush.

Quote
What people don’t know is that Obama got tremendous numbers of people out of the country, Bush the same thing. Lots of people were brought out of the country with the existing laws.

This guest then promised to continue Obama's policy on immigration.

Well, I’m gonna do the same thing.

Of course, what this guest didn't mention was that it is not true that Obama is getting 'tremendous numbers of people out of the country', just the opposite, according to the LA Times, Obama has fudged the numbers with his claims of increasing deportations and actually, they are down by 40%. http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-obama-deportations-20140402-story.html

This guest went on to defend the current immigration laws and system while criticizing the deportation programs of the past, like those under President Eisenhower as inhumane.

Who is this guest who wants to wants to continue Obama's immigration program and promises to be more of the same?

tremendous

I'm thinking he should use a different word here. Abnormous. It covers a lot of territory.
