Are We Witnessing A "It Just Got Real" Moment From Trump

Within the past 24 hours, Trump starts moving sharply left on major issues, including saying that his primary issue, Immigration, will look a lot like Obama's position- http://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,221856.0.html 

This brings up an interesting question; was there something in that security briefing so drastic, so 's**** just got real', that it completely slapped Trump in a different direction, either to moderate out of fear or out of not wanting the job?

I would say that it was information that we are on the verge of a worldwide economic collapse. The QE isn't going to prop it up much longer and he will be screwed in office.

Hard to imagine that something in a security briefing would cause him to reverse his position on immigration. 

More likely, he's reacting to polls (as explained by his new campaign team) that show him losing badly among undecideds and independents because of his position on immigration.

What would be in a briefing that would make it logical to reduce border security?

I think its more likely he's just reverting to his liberal ways.

Or he is doing more to sabotage himself, this time with the people who support him most on the issue they believe in him the most on? In other words, *it just got so real, he doesn't want the job.

That, or he feels it is time to grow up and try to play it down the middle.

I still think he never intended to be President. He wanted to elect Hillary and.... as he promised at the rallies to cheers.... destroy the GOP - and by endorsing Ryan, McCain and other RINO's he has shown he doesn't mean what he pretends to mean.
