A story swiftly spreading online charges Sen. Ted Cruz with pretending not to notice as his vice presidential pick Carly Fiorina falls off the stage at an Indiana campaign event.But an alternate video angle posted on the website Mediaite shows the circulating narrative is an extreme exaggeration.In the video disseminated Monday morning by the apparently pro-Trump conservative news aggregator Drudge Report, Fiorina introduces Cruz at a rally in La Porte, Ind., shortly before disappearing as if sucked down a deep void. Indeed in the video the fall seems like one that would leave a scar, and Cruz gives a quick glance and then goes on shaking hands with supporters..........That footage is taken directly facing the stage. In another video shot from 90 degrees to the right, the truth is laid bare: Fiorina takes a single stumbling step off the stage and catches herself standing with a light bounce.........Heidi Cruz offers her hand in assistance, but it wasn't needed. Anybody excited for four years of blatant Trump lies and whining? His comments on this episode today were disgusting.
Far too many of his comments are disgusting from toting the tyson endorsement, to the Bush lied people died type rant, to mocking the disable reporter, to the numerous sexist comments, to the punch the protestors in the face, to changing the libel laws, to targeting families of terrorists, to banning all muslims, to forcing the military to follow unlawful orders, and on and on. No, fours years of this would be worse than any alternative and more divisive and damaging to the country.
