White House urges girls to play with boys' toys
'Parents can vote with their wallets to stop gender stereotypes'

The White House is sponsoring a conference to devise methods of enticing girls to play with boys’ toys, and vice versa, as part of an overall strategy to break down gender stereotypes.

“There should be more boys’ art supplies and more engineering building blocks for girls,” said Tina Tchen, executive director of the White House Council on Women and Girls, the Blaze reported. “Parents can vote with their wallets to stop gender stereotypes.”

The gathering, set for Wednesday, is called the “Conference on Helping Our Children Explore, Learn and Dream Without Limits: Breaking Down Gender Stereotypes in Media and Toys.”

Tchen said during a conference call held in the leadup to the event that President Obama has been trying to promote more women in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math, and more men in the fields of nursing and teaching, and that the gathering was aimed at furthering that White House agenda.

“The toys children play with and the media they consume play a big role in the life they pursue,” she said, the Blaze reported. “This will be a diverse room of a lot of people with innovative ideas to break down gender stereotypes in toys and media.”

Another source in the Blaze story, Jess Weiner, an adjunct professor of the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California, said: “We want to see more powerful female superheroes, and more toys and video games that appeal to both boys and girls.”

Let me see if I'm correct.  The administration is fighting any attempt to use therapy on children who have one sexual orientation but have the body of the other.   So how do they justify trying to make girls into boys?  Ahhhh, its a "genderless" society liberals are after.
