FINALLY: Melissa Harris Perry Points Out Obvious ‘Star Wars’ Racism Because Darth Vader Is ‘Totally A Black Guy’

This is about four decades too late.

Melissa Harris Perry, the totally sensible MSNBC anchor who’s known to wear tampon earrings, delivered Pulitzer quality work on her show this past weekend by reporting about a subject that’s been kept under wraps for way too long.

Racism in Star Wars.

Yes, even with Lando Calrissian as a main character in the original trilogy and Samuel L. Jackson as a Jedi master in Episodes 1-3, and an African-American dude as the main character in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it’s obvious to anyone who’s paying attention that the Star Wars plot line carries a certain appeal to people who bookmark Stormfront.

Why? Because Darth Vader is “totally a black guy.”

Thus spake Harris Perry to her panel in an oh-so-important segment about race and gender in the Star Wars franchise.

For starters, the MSNBC host shared her commitment to social justice by informing the panel that she “spent a whole day talkin’ about the whole Darth Vader situation.”

We don’t know who she was talking to, but we really wish we could have been a fly on the wall in that room as she unloaded about the connection between Darth Vader’s shiny black mask and the Jim Crow era!

When one of her guests (probably a racist, even though he’s black and on MSNBC) challenged her on that, she clarified her problem with Darth Vader.

“The part where he was totally a black guy whose name was James Earl Jones,” she said.

And that’s a really good point. It’s probably best to disregard the fact that Darth Vader was dressed in black because black has been a symbol of evil since time immemorial and instead focus on the voice actor who played the role: African-American celebrity James Earl Jones.

Now, some of you might be thinking that Jones was cast for that role because his deep voice carried an aura of authoritarianism and was perfect for the part. Of course that’s not true. The producer/director/writer George Lucas wanted to put a black person in that role to forward the very popular notion that all black people are villains.

It gets worse. As Harris Perry pointed out; “But as soon as [Darth Vader] claims his son and goes over to the good, he takes off his mask and he is white.”

What more evidence do you need? When Darth Vader finally turns good, he’s revealed as white. Not just white, mind you, but totally white. He looks like his face is covered with talcum powder.

Can’t you see what’s going on there? Very black equals very bad. Very white equals very good.

Thankfully, we’ll always have people like Melissa Harris Perry around to expose the insidious, racist plots of Hollywood leftists.

Harris-Perry is Exhibit A of proof there is no automatic correlation between Academic achievement and native intelligence.

What a dim-witted blowhard.

That poor woman should have a minder whenever she's on TV.  It's embarrassing.

Darth Vader was a white guy who wore black, so he was a goth or emo. So she is being bigoted towards those of a darker emotional state of being. She is also bigoted towards the disabled by assuming that Vader's dark suit is somehow representative of his being 'bad' when it actually was a prosthesis to help his being differently-abled due to a horrific lava accident in his youth.  He was the beneficiary of the Empire's version of the Affordable Care Act.

Let's also not even go into that Vader grew up a poor orphan in what could only be described as a third world, Middle-Eastern appearing planet. He was the victim of child labor oppression. He also rejected the religion of the time and left his church. He had two babies out of wedlock although he most likely would have agree to abort them if he knew about them.

Plus, Vader was pro-abortion. He took it so far, he committed post-birth abortion against the younglings (post natal fetuses)

Vader believed in a strong, bureaucratic central government and rejected the Jedi theocrats.

Of course, Vader supported gay rights. He fought right along side Jar Jar (albeit, he isn't too crazy about Furries having made enemies of both Wookies and Ewoks).

Vader was also an environmentalist. He created his own planets (so-called Death Stars- probably named by the evil right-wing rebels in a propaganda rage) in order to have the empire operate heavy machinery and SUVs off their home planet as to not destroy it.

He hated the rich. All those snooty royals on Alderaan were made to redistribute their atoms to the universe in probably the greatest redistribution plan of all time. Now they wouldn't have more than anyone else.

She should be praising Vader.

Vader was VOICED by James Earl Jones. He was PLAYED [primarily] by David Prowse, a white guy, as well as the big Thug, also a white guy, ["Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom"] crushed in the conveyor belt [he did the fight scenes in "The Empire Strikes Back", and "Return of the Jedi"]. Vader unmasked was played by yet another white guy [Sebastian Shaw]. One might add that Anakin Skywalker was played by a white boy [Jake Lloyd] in "The Phantom Menace", and by Hadyn Christiansen in the "Attack of the Clones" and Revenge of the Sith". Also a white guy.

Wonder how Harris-Perry feels about the character of Lando Calrissian being created after the usual stink about a lack of black characters in the original "Star Wars". You know, "Affirmative Action long, long ago,in a galaqxy far, far away.
