FINALLY: Melissa Harris Perry Points Out Obvious ‘Star Wars’ Racism Because Darth Vader Is ‘Totally A Black Guy’

This is about four decades too late.
Melissa Harris Perry, the totally sensible MSNBC anchor who’s known to wear tampon earrings, delivered Pulitzer quality work on her show this past weekend by reporting about a subject that’s been kept under wraps for way too long.
Racism in Star Wars.
Yes, even with Lando Calrissian as a main character in the original trilogy and Samuel L. Jackson as a Jedi master in Episodes 1-3, and an African-American dude as the main character in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it’s obvious to anyone who’s paying attention that the Star Wars plot line carries a certain appeal to people who bookmark Stormfront.
Why? Because Darth Vader is “totally a black guy.”
Thus spake Harris Perry to her panel in an oh-so-important segment about race and gender in the Star Wars franchise.
For starters, the MSNBC host shared her commitment to social justice by informing the panel that she “spent a whole day talkin’ about the whole Darth Vader situation.”
We don’t know who she was talking to, but we really wish we could have been a fly on the wall in that room as she unloaded about the connection between Darth Vader’s shiny black mask and the Jim Crow era!
When one of her guests (probably a racist, even though he’s black and on MSNBC) challenged her on that, she clarified her problem with Darth Vader.
“The part where he was totally a black guy whose name was James Earl Jones,” she said.
And that’s a really good point. It’s probably best to disregard the fact that Darth Vader was dressed in black because black has been a symbol of evil since time immemorial and instead focus on the voice actor who played the role: African-American celebrity James Earl Jones.
Now, some of you might be thinking that Jones was cast for that role because his deep voice carried an aura of authoritarianism and was perfect for the part. Of course that’s not true. The producer/director/writer George Lucas wanted to put a black person in that role to forward the very popular notion that all black people are villains.
It gets worse. As Harris Perry pointed out; “But as soon as [Darth Vader] claims his son and goes over to the good, he takes off his mask and he is white.”
What more evidence do you need? When Darth Vader finally turns good, he’s revealed as white. Not just white, mind you, but totally white. He looks like his face is covered with talcum powder.
Can’t you see what’s going on there? Very black equals very bad. Very white equals very good.
Thankfully, we’ll always have people like Melissa Harris Perry around to expose the insidious, racist plots of Hollywood leftists.
