WASHINGTON - The candidates atop the GOP presidential field are ramping up political attacks aimed at Muslims, a move designed to appeal to hardline conservatives. But party elders worry that escalating anti-immigrant rhetoric could cost Republicans the White House in 2016.

The aggressive words, in particular from front-runners Donald Trump and Ben Carson, have exacerbated a widening rift between the GOP's pragmatic and ideological wings as the party tries to avoid losing a third consecutive presidential election.

His relationship with the nation's Hispanic community already strained, Trump vowed on Wednesday to deport any Syrian refugee taken in by the U.S. Most likely would be Muslim, and Trump warned they could be Islamic State militants in disguise.

"If I win, they're going back," the billionaire businessman said.

I'm toying with new word play for the Republican Party.

By changing the "Grand Old Party" to the "Grand Old, Old Party," we go from an abbreviation to an acronym. I'm going for an onomatopoeic effect.

I'm calling them the GOOP.

One of the main reason for the popularity of TRUMP and CARSSON is they don't give a s*** what the elders of the RINOGOP think about anything. They screwed this country and the PUBBIE base for the last 8 years and people are tired of the elders, RINOs of the GOP   :patriot:

Those who support conservative Republican causes would do well to recognize a left-wing news media hit piece when they see one, and let it go.

In this case, the entire narrative is defined by CAIR, which far from being a voice for "moderate" Islam, is a front group for Hamas terrorists, and by La Raza, which seeks to deconstruct the very idea of American citizenship.

The useful idiots of the left are all too happy to comply with them, and the GOP elites are too fearful to call them out. But in truth, the secret is out. Why else are political outsiders dominating the polls?

Because whether you like them or not as candidates, they are trying to tell the truth.
