Knew Jon when he was a voice teacher at Miami-Dade CC and sang at a local joint in the weekends. That's where Emilio and Gloria Estefan found him.

Night before last, saw "Love & Mercy" which is an EXCELLENT film about Brian Wilson, of the Beach Boys.

Wilson is considered by many to be a musical genius, cut down and cut short by mental illness.

Then a woman helped him take his life back from a quack psychologist who had held him captive and overmedicated him, for decades.

A truly moving  story. Plenty of music history as well, including the "Wrecking Crew."
