Muslim Religious Authority Demands Action Against Girl in Hijab w/Dog

Every country has its issues. Muslim Malaysia is obsessed with a vast conspiracy against Muslims… involving dogs.
Islamic authorities in Malaysia are conducting a probe into a controversial “dog patting” event aimed at removing the stigma regarding men’s best friend in the multi-ethnic Muslim-majority country.
Malaysia’s National Fatwa Council has declared that Muslims who touch and hold dogs intentionally are going against mainstream Islamic doctrine in the country.
Perkasa, a fascist Muslim organization, has suggested that “widespread vice” in Malaysia, including “alcohol and dog-petting festivals”, had triggered the unusual tornadoes that have wreaked havoc in the country.
One Facebook user’s comment — as reported by the Malaysian Insider — illustrates the level of paranoia in the hard-line camp. The user said the dog-familiarization event was part of “a Jewish agenda to Christianise Muslim-Malaysians through subtle measures.”
So the guy behind that had to go into hiding because of all the death threats.
The Malaysian authorities described the “I want to touch a dog” event as an offense to Islam.
Now there was an event for non-Muslims to adopt dogs. A photo from the event showed a girl in a hijab with a dog. And all hell broke loose. (via Religion of Peace)
The picture of a young Muslim girl carrying a small dog at an adoption drive called “Opt to Adopt”, has incensed a religious group here, who want action taken against her.
Mohamed Hafiz Mohamed Nordin, who heads the Badan Bertindak Jaringan Muslimin Pulau Pinang (JMPP), urged the Penang State Religious Department (JAIPP) to take appropriate action against the young girl seen in the picture, cuddling a stray.
Now the tornadoes are coming.
