Fox News Poll: Majority of Americans Say Obama Is Not Honest

A new poll finds more than half of Americans feel President Barack Obama is not honest, while almost half think he is not patriotic.
The results of the Fox News survey show that just 43 percent of Americans think Obama is honest, down 5 points from last summer and down 14 points from December 2011.
And when it comes to being a patriot, only 54 percent of the Americans surveyed said their president is patriotic. In December 2011, 60 percent of Americans said Obama is patriotic.
Another question asked was whether the people surveyed thought the United States is the best country in the world to live in. Eighty-three percent said yes, but only 64 percent said they believe Obama feels that way — down 4 percentage points from April 2011.
In terms of Obama's leadership skills, 43 percent think he is a strong leader — down from a high of 49 percent in June 2007 and 46 percent in December 2011.
Obama's approval rating is also low, at 42 percent. Last month that figure was 45 percent.
Party-wise, just 15 percent of Republicans said Obama is honest, with 75 percent of Democrats saying so. Twenty-six percent of Republicans think he is patriotic, while 85 percent of Democrats feel that way.
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said recently, "I do not believe the president loves America." His statement ignited a firestorm of controversy, and Giuliani said he even received death threats.
The Fox News poll concluded that 42 percent of Americans think there are "legitimate reasons" to question whether Obama loves America.
