Perhaps most troubling is the decrepit state of the U.S. nuclear arsenal, a system literally falling apart via technology that has not been adequately updated in some 50 years while other nations around the world are spending billions improving their own nuclear capabilities, Barack Obama has allocated just $75 million to do so, a paltry sum that will do little to nothing to improve the situation.
In the 1990’s it was the United States that chortled over the decrepit state of the former Soviet Union’s military – particularly its nuclear arsenal. Well, we ain’t laughing anymore.
Since that time, Vladimir Putin has overseen a massive upgrade of Russia’s military, with billions upon billions being spent modernizing its nuclear arsenal. During this same time, particularly since Barack Obama became president, the American military has seen its budget slashed, and its nuclear capabilities declining at an accelerated pace while rogue nations like North Korea and Iran are on the verge of becoming global nuclear weapon powers.
You think ISIS version 2015 is bad? Imagine a world where ISIS-minded world leaders can launch nuclear missiles.

In four of those categories—“Warhead Modernization,” “Delivery Systems Modernization,” Nuclear Weapons Complex” and “Nuclear Test Readiness”—the complex was rated as “weak” (the second worst rating possible).
And here is a report summary from the Heritage Foundation:
Washington, DC, Feb. 24, 2015 – The U.S. military may be weaker than you think. All but one branch of America’s military and nuclear forces are currently operating at “marginal” strength levels. The exception is the Air Force, which is rated as “strong” in the “Index of U.S. Military Strength,” released today by The Heritage Foundation.
…It concludes that, overall, U.S. armed forces are not capable of prevailing when fighting two regional conflicts at once, a longstanding strategic objective. It notes that, while terrorism still presents a serious threat, Russia and China pose the greatest danger to U.S. national security.
Like Russia, China has invested billions in growing and modernizing its own military capabilities including five new nuclear weapon submarines and a new road-mobile ICBM system.
Since when does America allow its own military to decline so much as to be rated “WEAK/MARGINAL”?
Apparently in this Age of Obama it’s simply what is called, “according to plan…”
