Donald Trump: 'I Will Take Full Credit' for Romney Dropping Out
Friday, January 30, 2015 10:11 PM

By: Sandy Fitzgerald

A week ago, just before and during the Iowa Freedom Summit, real estate mogul Donald Trump was quick to call out two-time presidential candidate Mitt Romney for failing to defeat President Barack Obama, and he was just as quick to give his Twitter followers his "told-you-so" Friday afternoon after Romney announced he was backing out.

Trump started his tweets at 1:59 p.m., not long after Romney made his bombshell announcement that he would not try a third presidential run, because he thought it "best to give other leaders in the party the opportunity to become our next nominee."

In his first tweet, Trump crowed that people would say he was taking credit:

Everyone is saying the bad news is that Donald Trump is going to take credit & they are right—Mitt wouldn’t have won anyway.

He is worse than Obama in having to be the center of every story.

Trump is like his bad hair days; he just never gets any better.  Does anyone really take him seriously?   :silly:
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Maybe The Hair isn't saying he deserves credit for Mitt dropping out so much as for being correct in saying that Mitt  didn't have a snowball's chance of winning - and now even Mitt realizes it.

Donald Trump is a joke, but Sarah Palin and Ben Carson are seriously candidates?

Who said anything about Carson or Palin? In any event, both of them aren't any less serious than what's occupying the WH right now.

Trump is going to make a lot of noise about running and back out at the last minute like he always does. Now he needs to fire Jerry Rivers on his awful tv reality show and focus on that.

  Jerry Rivers still on the show? The main reason I won't watch it, Rivera  is on it.

Well, I think that is a valid point.

There are very few things that Trump doesn't take credit for in the Western world.

If it wasn't for the fact that Al Gore invented the Internet, he'd take credit for that as well.
