This one involves the Taliban, that terrorist organization that helped facilitate the 9/11 attacks that killed over 3000 Americans, is now apparently a warm and cuddly group of bearded men worthy of America’s full cooperation.
Just some good ole’ peace loving’ boys, right?
The comments came after ABC news correspondent John Karl asked Obama White House Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz why the administration was so willing engage in prisoner swaps with the Taliban, as was done in the 5 for 1 swap for alleged American soldier deserter Bowe Bergdahl, but not do similar swaps with other terrorist groups.
Schultz answered with this startling assessment:
“I would also point out that the Taliban is an armed insurgency. [Islamic State] is a terrorist group. So we don’t make concessions to terrorist groups.”

Apparently Barack Obama and/or Valerie Jarrett didn’t get that memo or chose to ignore it.
One has to wonder then why they would ignore the more recent example of the Taliban’s terrorist credentials given the horrific slaughter of 132 young school children in Pakistan just last month. Apparently the loss of hundreds of innocent Pakistani youth to the Taliban is far less important than the administration’s desire to free all terrorists being held in GITMO. If so, that proves the long held allegation by many that no president in American history has been more a friend to the enemies of the United States than Barack Hussein Obama.
