Global Warming is Not a Hoax Says Group Americans Trust Less Than Car Salesmen

I trust them. They can’t seem to figure out how a budget works, so they’re bound to be experts on climate science. And they’ve only stolen a few trillion here and there over the years.

US Senate Republicans joined Democrats and went on record Wednesday acknowledging that climate change is real.

The symbolic amendment, attached to a controversial bill authorizing construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline…

The 16-word measure states: “It is the sense of the Senate that climate change is real and not a hoax.”

And when politicians tell you something isn’t a hoax, you can trust them. Of course Americans ranked Senators as having less ethics and honesty than car salesmen. That’s like getting an endorsement of your business from Al Capone.

But anyway it’s the sense of the Senate that the melting planet is not a hoax. Or possibly freezing planet. The advocates can’t decide. But whatever it is, it requires that we spend a lot of money on the people who say so.
