Jihadist violence: Yazidi survivors taking refuge in Dohuk
« on: December 14, 2014, 08:54:46 am »
A BBC investigation has found that more than 5,000 people around the world died as the result of jihadist violence during the month of November.

Data from the study shows that most registered attacks happened in Iraq - by the jihadists who call themselves Islamic State.

One of the most affected communities has been the Yazidi in Northern Iraq, which has seen tens of thousands killed, kidnapped or displaced.

Many of the Yazidis have taken refuge in the Kurdish town of Dohuk.
