Looking at all the pics on FaceBook (he has hundreds of "Followers")....and suddenly I'm wracked with sobs and all this salty discharge is coming out of my eyes!

Love you all for your support.  It was a monumental event for Cliff today.   He would come over to my condo once or twice a week and we'd reminisce and laugh so hard we cried.  He more than once whipped out his notebook and took notes....he said for his 50 minute 'talk'

Standing ovations...had the women AND men crying their eyes out!

I'm so proud of him.

Aw gee, DC - you got me crying too!  Our lives sure do take twists and turns that we have trouble seeing where we're heading at the time - but retrospect shows us that no matter what life throws at us - we can triumph!

Wow DC - I know you are a proud dad!  Who could have seen that Cliff would triumph over such a devastating life-changing accident?  So happy that prayers were answered - praise God!  This is awesome!

Wow DC I consider you a friend and had absolutely know idea that this had transpired and I just wandered into this thread.  You have every right to be tremendously proud and so should your son! Your son's story is truly amazing and very inspiring and certainly gives a message of courage and hope. Hugs.  Thanks for sharing;  I really needed to hear this story ...

He hits it a ton from the tee. In Toronto, when they filmed this, one of the woman pros stopped and went under the ropes to watch him.  They were having a tournament that weekend. 

He's trying out for the 2020 Toyko Olympics.  And I've learned not to underestimate him.
