Links to pics of the baby above.

Hotdogging SWAT team throwing flashbang grenades into a residential home with disastrous effects.

This is the kind of crap that has to STOP!

If this was me and my family, I would sue the county for every penny they have, and every penny they will have for the next 10 years.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.

Militarized police forces are going to act like military:  busting down doors, throwing flashbang grenades, shooting dogs. slamming family members to the floor.

Just like the ATF raiding David Koresh's compound in Waco in 1993 and it blew up in their faces, it's time for law enforcement to dial back this ninja nonsense.  Innocent people get killed over what?  A little bit of powder?

I hope Congress shuts off the flow of surplus military crap to these cities.  Cops showing up in situations with armored gear is like a guy coming into a room with his fists up.  You're expecting a fight.

I don't even think the gear is one of the bigger problems. The training and mindset have changed; all civilians are seen as potential hostiles and they've adopted more of a shoot first ask questions later mentality. Yeah, the gear is ridiculous and unnecessary, but the part that really needs to change is these cops being trained like soldiers getting ready for war. We also need to stop letting cops get off with a slap on the wrist when they break the law.

"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."
Benjamin Franklin
