U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Harold Greene was buried Aug. 14 in Section 60 of Arlington National Cemetery, outside Washington, D.C. Maj. Gen. Greene, who was gunned down Aug. 5 while visiting an Afghan military academy, was the highest-ranking Army officer to be killed in combat since the Vietnam War.

You know it can happen. Every time you head out into a hot zone, you are gambling with the devil. Doesn't make it any easier to take, especially for the families.
