Look - The US did good. So did the UK, France and the Aussies.

But those peoples survival is down to the Peshmurga. Nasty bleep, but you'd probably all like them. They went in and escorted them out, despite being in the middle of their own war for survival against ISIL. Carried them out, in a lot of cases. Took them into Kurdish Syria, then back into safe zones further east in Kurdish Iraq (Kurds really don't do the whole border thing.). The kids are being cared for until their parents can get out, and cared for like they were their own.
