President Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama are expected to attend an event Wednesday night with Bill and Hillary Clinton at Vernon Jordan’s house.
"The President and First Lady are very much looking forward to the occasion and seeing Former Secretary Clinton,” a White House official confirmed to ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl.
The event comes just days after Hillary Clinton expressed her differences with Obama’s foreign policy of "Don’t do stupid stuff” in an interview with The Atlantic.
“Great nations need organizing principles, and ‘Don’t do stupid stuff’ is not an organizing principle,” she said.
Clinton also said that it was a “failure” for Obama not act in Syria.
“The failure to help build up a credible fighting force of the people who were the originators of the protests against Assad—there were Islamists, there were secularists, there was everything in the middle—the failure to do that left a big vacuum, which the jihadists have now filled,” Clinton said.
