Now Pelosi’s Lying About Her Crazed Lunacy on the House Floor

On Friday, Nancy Pelosi broke House decorum in a major way. As Rep. Tom Marino (R-PA) made a statement that under the leadership of then Speaker Pelosi, when the Democrats had control of the House, Senate and White House in 2009 and 2010, they made no effort whatsoever to pass any type of comprehensive immigration, but are trying to make a political statement out of it now.
Pelosi became unhinged, chasing Marino around the House floor while crying out, “Where is he?” Her actions even caused fellow Democrat Rep. Nita Lowey to ask incredulously, “What is she doing?” But, Pelosi’s recollection of that even will cause some to wonder if James Woods was right.
After her unstable outburst, Pelosi’s office released a statement in which she not only defended her actions, but also made a claim that has been brought into question.
“With the clock ticking to a Republican vote to deport DREAMers, Leader Pelosi just wanted to remind the Congressman that House Democrats had the courage to pass the DREAM Act — and have the courage to stand up for what the American people want: bipartisan, comprehensive immigration reform. What have Republicans done? Leader Pelosi accepted the Congressman’s apology.”
The only problem is that Politico reports that Rep. Marino said on FOX News not only did he not apologize, he has no intention of doing so.
Is Pelosi’s claim that Marino apologized just another lie from the California Democrat or is it a sign of delusion and mental instability?
