A court in Egypt has dissolved the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), the Muslim Brotherhood's political wing.

The government of President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi has cracked down harshly on the Islamist movement and other opponents over the past year.

Last July, Mr Sisi - then head of the military - ousted President Mohammed Morsi, a former leader of the FJP, following mass protests.

The Brotherhood was declared a terrorist group in December.

That's the quandary. Subsets of Islam have issues, and some use terrorism in their cause. Should they and their views be allowed in the political process? The obvious answer, not until they denounce and abandon terrorism.

We had the same problem in Northern Ireland. Still do, in a lot of ways.

You got two types of terrorists.

The ones with what you might call a legitimate grievance. Sort that out, and they stand down.

Then you got the ones that just like killing and maiming.
