The fact this type of incident happens repeatedly informs me that "hearts and minds" crap is BS.

We have lost too many lives while fighting muslims, and the muslims have not lost enough lives.

We have the capability kill by the millions, but won't do so. Why?

We have been midled to thing "winning hearts and minds" is the path to victory.

But what happened to the olde fashioned method, of killing so many of the enemy that they sue for peace? Unconditional surrender?
