Take one duck. Pour water on duck's back. Same effect. Same result.

"A deficit is what you've got when you haven't got as much as if you just had nothing. If we tried any of this, we'd end up in jail, but the government gets rid of its debts by nationalizing them. That's like the alcoholic who solved his problem by pouring the booze in all of his bottles into one big container. Himself." (Charlie Farquharson, edited for spelling)

Feinstein and Pelosi moved against their party's own officeholder, in 1998. Can anybody imagine such a move by dems today, against Obama? Didn't think so. Obama is shielded by his half-race.

However the GOP could do so, based on the 1998 precedent. If they could stay at work, instead of on nearly perpetual fundraising "recess" (vacation).

The House has passed over 350 bills and sent them to the Senate. Harry Reid has refused to bring any of them up for discussion or a vote. What more can they do? Add another 50 or 100 bills to the list?
