If Allen West is Right, Barack Obama Is In Serious Trouble

After a vicious attack on four U.S. Marines back in 2012, the families of slain victims have counted on Afghanistan’s legal system to appropriately punish Ainuddin Khudairaham. Instead, the man who killed three while seriously injuring a fourth has been tried as a juvenile and sentenced to a shameful seven and a half year prison term.

Two years ago, while serving as an aide to local law enforcement, brought a rifle with him to the gym at a Helmand Province forward operating base and opened fire. He showed no mercy and killed Lance Cpl. Gregory Buckley Jr., Cpl. Richard Rivera Jr., and Staff Sgt. Scott Dickinson during the violent encounter.

Conservative hero U.S. Army Lt. Col. Allen West, a former Congressman, weighed in on the light sentence during a recent Fox News (above) to explain just how serious this “heinous” sentencing is:

“This is absolutely unconscionable. The shooter should not have been tried as a juvenile.”

[As] a matter of fact, the family of Lance Cpl. Buckley was told that he was not going to be tried as a juvenile.”

And we went on to call for the death penalty.

As you can see, West expanded his comments to explain the injustice military members in every part of the armed forces are facing. We’re “handing out pink slips to command leaders” in Afghanistan, but still haven’t improved VA hospitals.

In addition:

We are allowing all of these individuals to include MS-13 [gang] members to come across our border, but we can’t bring our own Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi across that border back home.

Well said, Rep. West! When murderers are treated lightly while America has a President who refuses to act on Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi’s illegal incarceration in Mexico, we are demoralizing the men and women who fight for our country.

West also believes that Bowe Bergdahl may be the tipping point, because if he remains classified under former POW status (instead of a deserter), he will receive $350,000 despite his shameful actions. But I wouldn’t hold your breath for Obama to do the right thing.

President Obama is hurting troop morale in reprehensible ways. And when morale is low, our military can no longer effectively defend America and free oppressed people. This is just one more reason why he may be impeached.

"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."
Benjamin Franklin
