Video: The View Comes Out in Favor of Guns for Women

This segment of The View started off with a really stupid gun control ad put out by Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety. You can watch the ad here:

The lady calls the police, but because she doesn’t have 10 or 20 minutes to wait, her call does nothing. What she needed was a gun for herself. Especially since she had an abusive ex-husband with a restraining order against him who obviously didn’t care about the gun control laws that were supposed to prevent him from obtaining a gun.
Quite surprisingly, ladies on The View saw right through the ad and made an argument for arming women:
It’s got to be pretty bad when a gun control ad that was intended to appeal to our emotions and convince us that the problem is the gunitself, completely falls flat and even convinces usually liberal women – who are the target audience of this ad – to use the scenario in the ad to make the case for gun ownership.
Who knows how much money Bloomberg spent on the ad. But it seems it’ll have the opposite effect on women. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s an uptick of women obtaining gun permits. It’s like what gun manufacturers said about Obama being the best gun salesman they could ever ask for. Bloomberg may have just contributed to the evil gun lobby by producing this ad.
