War On Women: TMZ Calls Sarah Palin ‘Bitch,’ ‘Dumb,’ ‘Horrible Mom’

ZPalinRemember when it was considered a “War on Women” when Republicans objected to being forced to buy Sandra Fluke’s birth control? Now, anyone and everyone can spew forth venomous slurs against female political figures (so long as they’re conservative).
On Wednesday, TMZ blasted Sarah Palin for receiving a speeding ticket (as many people do at one point in their lives or another). When asked about her ticket for going 63 in a 45, she joked, “I wasn’t speeding; I was qualifying.”
Without any kind of justification, the staffers at TMZ jumped to slam the former governor and threw out insults, calling her “a bitch” and “dumb.”
Another staffer chimed in to claim that she was so dumb that she is incapable of being evil. Soon, others chimed in and went to work on Palin’s parenting skills, saying she’s a “really bad mom,” and a “horrible mom.”
People do not have to like Sarah Palin, but it’s amazing that even at a gossip site, the level of discourse has descended to this level.
However, the mainstream isn’t much better. Former MSNBC host Martin Bashir, a man expected to be a professional, earned the ire of conservatives last year when he advocated that someone ought to defecate in Palin’s mouth because she said something of which Bashir disapproved.
