Ohio State Psychology Class Quiz Tells Students Atheists Are Smarter Than Christians

Here’s an actual, for-credit homework quiz in an undergraduate class called Psychology 1100 at Ohio State University:
Theo has an IQ of 100 and Aine has an IQ of 125. Which of the following statements would you expect to be true?
• Aine is an atheist, while Theo is a Christian.
• Aine earns less money than Theo.
• Theo is more liberal than Aine.
• Theo is an atheist, while Aine is a Christian.
The bolded statement, suggesting that atheists are — demonstrably and as a group — smarter than Christians, is the credited answer on the quiz.
A student currently enrolled in the class who wishes to remain anonymous tipped off Campus Reform about the questionable quiz at the taxpayer-funded school.
“Colleges will tolerate pretty much any religion other than Christianity,” the student told Campus Reform. “If colleges really want to give everyone a fair shot, they should stay away from making comments about any religion.”
“How can you really measure which religion has a higher IQ?” the student added.
The quiz was one of several online quizzes related to Psychology 1100 — a general education survey course. Enrolled students must complete a certain number of quizzes and are encouraged to complete them all to get ready for the final exam.
An Ohio State administrator in the psychology department – who also wished to remain unidentified – said that quizzes are typically fashioned based on textbook material but, at the end of the day, they are created by graduate assistants.
Ohio State has a very clear and strict policy banning discrimination of many, many kinds. Discrimination is forbidden based on “age, ancestry, color, disability, gender identity or expression, genetic information, military status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, HIV status, or veteran status.”
Campus Reform turned to Mike Adams, a sociology professor at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a staunch conservative, for a quote. Adams noted that it would be ludicrous and highly offensive to make the very same statement based on race.
“So, would it be permissible to force blacks to take a class teaching that blacks would have a lower IQ than white people?” Adams wondered.
Ohio State University is a huge, sprawling Big 10 school that is most famous for its embarrassing ex-president, E. Gordon Gee, who collected $6.1 million from the school in fiscal year 2013. The Six Million Dollar Bureaucrat resigned his position after making several gaffes and insulting the Roman Catholic Church. Also, just this week, Ohio State’s marching band director was fired after a slew of highly sexual and kinky hazing rituals were brought to school officials’ knowledge. Raunchy band member nicknames included “Squirt,” for a female student who would sit on fellow band members’ laps and pretend to orgasm. There was also “Jizzy,” “Jewoobs” — given to a Jewish student with large breasts — “Tits McGee” and “Captain Dildo.” (RELATED: SHOCKING Investigation Reveals Ohio State University’s Marching Band Is Filled With Depraved Perverts)
Back in September, Ohio State made news when campus cops got their very own armored military vehicle. It looks like it belongs in Iraq or Afghanistan. The school envisions a number of uses for the vehicle including “officer rescue,” “hostage scenarios,” “bomb evaluation” and, somehow, lumbering after campus killers.
