And yet he had similar approval numbers in October 2011, and got easily reelected a year later.

He's Teflon. He's raising money, and berating the do-nothing congress daily.

Republicans ought to focus on one thing only, which is winning the Senate in November.

But even if they do, they should anticipate that Obama will say that nothing is changed, he'll do what he can without them, etc.

They can sue him, they can impeach him. But he'll serve out his term, so the most probable outcome is working with him on some issues.

I'm not sure even God wants anything to do with him.
Constitutions are not designed for metaphysical or logical subtleties, for niceties of expression, for critical propriety, for elaborate shades of meaning, or for the exercise of philosophical acuteness or judicial research. They are instruments of a practical nature, founded on the common business of human life, adapted to common wants, designed for common use, and fitted for common understandings.

How can 39% approve?

Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military? Really!.....
...They have been in our country for many years through no fault of their own - brought in by parents at young age. Plus BIG border security

How can 39% approve?
Because they enjoy being told they have a right to things they haven't earned, at the expense of people whose relative success they resent.
Liberalism isn't really about making the world a better place. It's about reassuring the elites that they are good people for wanting to rule over it.
