According to the LA Times, in Brooks County, Texas, the Sheriff's office who consists of four people, are finding themselves overwhelmed with 911 calls from migrants lost on the huge ranches that are on the border.

In addition to all the calls they get from being lost, there are those that did not make it.  42 bodies have been found so far this year.

70 miles north of the border has become the region's deadliest killing fields for migrants. Since 2009, authorities have recovered more than 400 immigrants' bodies in the county, including that of a 16-year-old Central American boy discovered last month.
