Conservative Brings Eric Holder's Crimes to Light

The Washington Times ran a disturbing story a couple of months ago wherein they revealed that the federal government had released many dangerous criminals back into the general population.
This information is terrifying, but it should also lead us to be very angry at our federal government.
Immigration officials knowingly released dozens of murderers and thousands of drunken drivers back into the U.S. in 2013, according to Obama administration statistics that could undercut the president’s argument that he is trying to focus on the most serious criminals in his immigration enforcement.
Among the 36,000 immigrants whom U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement released from custody last year there were 116 with convictions for homicide, 43 for negligent manslaughter, 14 for voluntary manslaughter and one with a conviction classified by ICE as “homicide-willful kill-public official-gun.”
“This would be considered the worst prison break in American history, except it was sanctioned by the president and perpetrated by our own immigration officials,” said Rep. Lamar Smith, Texas Republican. “The administration’s actions are outrageous. They willfully and knowingly put the interests of criminal immigrants before the safety and security of the American people.”
Congressman Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is tired of the lies and tired of the criminal behavior from the Obama administration, and he is working hard to hold the Obama administration accountable.
Here’s what he recently said about the immigration crisis unfolding on our southern border.

Take, for example, the DHS report from earlier this year about the government's release of criminal illegal aliens. These are individuals who were unlawfully present in the country *and* who were convicted of a serious criminal offense. According to the DHS report, ICE released more than 36,000 criminal convicts during fiscal year 2013 alone instead of returning them to the home country as required by law.
The breakdown of offenses provided by DHS is stunning, and includes the following offenses:
193 homicide convictions (including one willful killing of a public official with gun)
426 sexual assault convictions
303 kidnapping convictions
1,075 aggravated assault convictions
1,160 stolen vehicle convictions
9,187 dangerous drug convictions
16,070 drunk or drugged driving convictions
303 flight escape convictions
Releasing convicted criminals back into American society is contrary to the safety and welfare of the American people. It also sends a message to those who contemplate illegally entering the U.S. that the government is not serious about law enforcement.
Eric Holder is a liar and he has been derelict in his duty of enforcing our laws. So too has been his boss, President Obama. They both deserve to be derided and shamed until they decide to enforce our laws as the Constitution demands. Protecting our borders is one of the few jobs the Constitution explicitly hands to the federal government… and yet it is the one thing that Obama doesn’t seem to want to do.
