Quote
The White House is asking Rep. Darrell Issa to withdraw a subpoena of a senior adviser to President Barack Obama and is offering instead to hold a private briefing on activities in the administration’s political affairs office.

In a letter sent Monday, White House Counsel W. Neil Eggleston offered to brief Issa, a California Republican who chairs the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, on the role of the the Office of Political Strategy and Outreach on Tuesday. That’s one day before the office’s director, David Simas, is under subpoena to testify on potential violations of the Hatch Act.

Must be some very damaging evidence there.

I imagine the pressure and threat-level on Rep. Issa is quite high...

He should trade this for Obama's cooperation on the IRS.  The Hatch Act is pretty minor compared to the IRS using its power to harass the people.

Character still matters.  It always matters.

I wear a mask as an exercise in liberty and love for others.  To see it as an infringement of liberty is to entirely miss the point.  Be kind.

What you talking 'bout Willis?  Bambi's really pissed about this and is doing everything he can to get to the bottom of it.

People should stop pretending that the IRS issue hasn't been proved and think about next steps...

If charges are convincing enough, he might resign. Others have.

Impeach Holder.

While it is possible to do that, he is already on the way out.  His successor has not been named yet but his tour as AG is almost over, and an impeachment of the Attorney General would take longer to organize than he has time left in office.

The thing to focus on is pushing the confirmation hearings for his successor into next year.  If (when!) the Dhimmies finally lose control of the Senate, then Obama will play unholy hell trying to get anyone appointed as dog catcher over at Justice, because Harry Reid won't be able to block anything for Obama for the last two years of his Immaculation.

The focus needs to be on electing strong conservatives to Congress and continue the house cleaning on Capital Hill that we all began back in the 2010 Midterms.  Things have only gotten worse for Obama in Congress since then, and when he loses the Senate like he lost the House, his games are going to be just about done.  Without a willing Congress, he can put that pen and cellphone where the sun don't shine.
